Anne Curtis Smith has received numerous honors in her career, including the two FAMAS Awards she won in 2008 and 2009 and a Luna Award. The role she played was Dyesebel, the Komiks character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. She also hosted the It's Showtime noontime show (2009-2010) Anne Curtis (born 17 February 1985) is an Filipina Australian model, actress, TV host and recording artist. There have been a variety of awards throughout her professional career. She played Dyesebel, the legendary Komiks character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. In addition, she hosted the midday variety show It's Showtime between 2009 and 2020. Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian lawyer. Her birthplace was Yarrawonga located in Victoria, Australia. Her father was married to Ojales in 1982. Jasmine her younger sister also works as an actress. Clare is a cousin of theirs on the death of their father. Clare passed away at 4 months of age in 2007 after suffering from an cardiovascular disease.
